Basketball Uniforms for Porochi School

Jose Luis who is the principal and a teacher at the Perochi elementary has such a big heart for the students at his school. He puts in a full day with the kids and also provides extra-curricular activities for the students who almost all stay at the school for the entire week. One of the activities that all of the children seem to love is basketball. The kids are good! They work hard and know what teamwork is. They are so good that last summer they were asked to be part of the National Indigenous Olympics. True Messages was privileged to help make sure the kids would get to the Olympics and we were proud of their accomplishments there.

Fast forward to the fall and True Messages sent financial incentives to the children for their participation in another extra-curricular activity, The 100 Mile Club. Jose Luis and the community thought it would be a great opportunity to purchase basketball uniforms for the entire school. It sure is nice that they are able to have uniforms and participate in events that encourage them in excellence. True Messages is so very proud of all the kids and happy to be able to watch them excel.
